Responsibilities:

• Drive progression of multiple drug discovery projects from target identification through to translational pharmacology
• Lead the biology team and provide strategic input into discovery programs
• Required to be pharmacology / biology subject matter expert within organisation across in vitro and in vivo pharmacology
• Support junior scientists by shaping the development of assays
• Collaborate with global teams to support projects across business

Requirements:

• Educated to PhD with 10+ years drug discovery experience
• Proven record of developing small molecules from early discovery into preclinical development
• Experience managing a team of scientists and cross functional project teams
• Broad knowledge of biochemical pharmacology and cellular pharmacology and their application in drug discovery
